Forever Living Aloe Scrub Review

I have to admit....I'm a scrubber.

I know what you're thinking and no, not that type of scrubber.....cheeky! ;-)

I've got a bit of a thing for body scrubs. I'm sure many girls who are forever on the quest for baby-soft skin can relate to this. I've tried everything. 

Recently, a friend of mine got in touch to tell me about her current business venture. She's a Forever Living distributor and couldn't wait to show me these products because she knew they'd be right up my street. 

I headed over to her place for a demonstration evening (kind of similar to a Body Shop party - loads of fun and plenty of stuff to try out, oh and wine!) where I got to sample some of these lovely products. Forever Living products are pretty much all aloe vera based - as that's the selling point - the aloe vera is unique and of the finest quality. Since I'm a scrubber, I decided to place an order for the "Aloe Scrub" and see whether it was worthy of it's £13 price tag.

The first thing I noticed about this Jojoba bead scrub is that a little goes a LONG way. As it costs more than what I would usually spend on a body scrub, I was wary of using too much but I needn't have worried. This scrub is VERY effective in small doses. The next great thing about it is, although it's effective, it's also gentle enough to use daily. However, I haven't even needed to use it daily, I've been using it twice per week all over the body and found this to be sufficient enough at keeping my skin totally smooth. Which also means it will last longer, too.

Thirdly, it smells really pleasant. I'm not saying that other scrubs don't, this one is just....different. Nice, clean, fresh smelling - just like, well, aloe vera! :)

I have a really stubborn small patch of dry skin on my left ankle (sorry for the gross detail) which was a NIGHTMARE for fake-tanning and have never been able to find a scrub effective enough to get rid of this. I am totally thrilled to say that this patch has now GONE thanks to Aloe Scrub and I no longer have to be ashamed of my dodgy patchy ankles. 

For me, Forever Living products are luxury skincare items, so I expect to get what I pay for. Aloe Scrub hasn't let me down...I'm glad I treated myself to this because I definitely haven't wasted my money.
